Monterey is 8-1-1 against North Monterey County since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Monterey Dores will head out on the road to face off against the North Monterey County Condors at 5:45 p.m. Monterey is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Wednesday, Monterey earned a 3-1 win over Soquel. That's two games straight that the Dores have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, North Monterey County was a bit more limited in their matchup last Wednesday. They fell 2-0 to Christopher. The defeat continues a trend for the Condors in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Monterey's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0-1. As for North Monterey County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything went Monterey's way against North Monterey County when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as Monterey made off with a 5-2 win. Will Monterey repeat their success, or does North Monterey County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
