Soccer Recap: La Grange Comes Up Short

La Grange managed to slip by Manor New Tech the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The La Grange Leopards lost 4-1 to Manor New Tech on Friday. The Leopards just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

La Grange's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Manor New Tech, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.

Looking ahead, La Grange will venture away from home to take on Giddings at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Giddings knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully La Grange likes a good challenge. As for Manor New Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against C.H. Yoe at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Manor New Tech will be up against C.H. Yoe's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
