Mercy and Jefferson faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Monday. The Bears' pitchers stepped up to hand the Grizzlies a 25-0 shutout. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by eight runs or more this season.

Mercy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .789. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The win (which was Mercy's third in a row) raised their record to 12-12. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Jefferson, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.
