Basketball Recap: Windsor Comes Up Short

Windsor was the 38-24 winner over Southampton when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Windsor Dukes fell just short of the Southampton Indians by a score of 38-36 on Tuesday. The Dukes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southampton found their leader in sophomore Reagan D'Arco, who went 7 of 14 on her way to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Ziryah Wyche, who posted ten points.

Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Southampton, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-10.

Windsor won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Southampton, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
