Passers beware: Caden Ward came down with his first-ever interception on Saturday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also picked up 62 receiving yards, helping propel La Marque past Wheatley by a score of 57-0. We hope Ward's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, Ward and La Marque will challenge Hitchcock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 504 places lower in Texas), but they're not letting that get them down.
