Soccer Game Preview: Chiles vs. South Walton

The Chiles Timberwolves and the South Walton Seahawks will compete for holiday cheer at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

After two halves, Chiles and Lincoln settled for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, South Walton fell victim to Maclay and their airtight defense on Friday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Marauders an easy 8-0 victory. While losing is never fun, the Seahawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Marauders are ranked 18th).

South Walton's loss dropped their record down to 10-3-3. Chiles' draw gives them a new season record of 4-1-4.
