Volleyball Recap: Wayne County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wayne County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Purvis Tornadoes, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tornadoes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Wayne County took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-11, 25-15.

Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Purvis, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season.

Wayne County will host Stone at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Purvis, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Bay on the 20th.
