Smithson Valley entered their tilt with Wagner on Friday with 13 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 14. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Thunderbirds. Give the Rangers' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Smithson Valley pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Wagner, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.
