Lewiston-Porter's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Maryvale Flyers as they made off with a 17-1 win. With that victory, the Lancers brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Scarlett Sloma made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Gianna Venditti was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Charlotte Ryan, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Lewiston-Porter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .486. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in six consecutive matchups.

Lewiston-Porter's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Maryvale, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

As of now, neither Lewiston-Porter nor the Flyers have any future games scheduled.
