Basketball Game Preview: Oceanside Sailors vs. Herricks Highlanders

The Oceanside Sailors will face off against the Herricks Highlanders at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Oceanside is headed into Saturday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Monday. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 68-67 heartbreaker at the hands of New Hyde Park Memorial.

Meanwhile, Herricks beat Academy Charter 62-51 on Friday.

Oceanside's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Herricks, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7.
