Softball Recap: Leicester Comes Up Short

Leicester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Bay Path RVT Minutemen, falling 14-2.

Leicester's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Bay Path RVT, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-10.

Looking ahead, Leicester will challenge Bartlett at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.07 runs per game on average), something the Wolverines will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bay Path RVT, they will take on Shepherd Hill Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
