Basketball Recap: McArthur Comes Up Short + How To Watch

McArthur was the 58-51 winner over Flanagan when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons on Thursday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

AJ Forges produced another solid performance dropping a double-double with 30 points and ten boards for Flanagan. The dominant performance also gave Forges a new career-high in assists (four). Gianni Elpenord was another key player, putting up four points along with five assists and three steals.

McArthur's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Flanagan, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Looking ahead, McArthur will head out to square off against Monarch at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Flanagan, they will host Cooper City at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Forges and Adam Gonzalez.
