Baseball Recap: Eagle Rock Comes Up Short

Eagle Rock lost against Marshall last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles lost 7-1 to the Barristers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eagle Rock's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Marshall, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-8.

Coming up, Eagle Rock is taking a road trip to square off against Franklin at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.78 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Marshall, they have already played their next game, a 12-5 defeat against Monrovia on the 5th.
