Taylorsville snaps three-game streak of wins at home

The Taylorsville Warriors struggled with assists on Tuesday (the Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle had 15 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Taylorsville took a 71-53 bruising from Juan Diego Catholic. Taylorsville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bronson Dallimore, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Dallimore has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Logan Bertagnolli, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.

It was another big night for Luke Meyer, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 16 rebounds for Juan Diego Catholic. Stockton Young was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds.

Taylorsville's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-9. As for Juan Diego Catholic, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taylorsville will take on Granger at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Granger is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak. As for Juan Diego Catholic, they will be playing at home against West Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
