Baseball Recap: Cascade Kodiaks vs. Waterville Shockers
Cascade extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping their season record down to 2-13 in the process. They lost 17-7 to the Waterville Shockers. The Kodiaks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Shockers earlier this season, when they won 16-3.
Blake Kukowski made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Teddy Everson was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs.
As for Waterville, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
