Volleyball Game Preview: Millennium Tigers vs. Rincon/University Rangers

The Millennium Tigers will take on the Rincon/University Rangers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rincon/University took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Millennium, who comes in off a win.

Millennium took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Shadow Ridge 3-0.

While Millennium won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-13.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Rincon/University's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to Hamilton. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rangers have suffered since March 6th.

While Rincon/University ultimately came up short, they really made Hamilton work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 29-27, 25-20.

Millennium will have to contain Nic Sanchez as he made an impact in Rincon/University's last game. He had 14 digs and two aces. Sanchez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Rincon/University's defeat dropped their record down to 23-8. As for Millennium, their win bumped their record up to 20-14.
