Soccer Recap: South View Comes Up Short

South View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Jack Britt Buccaneers, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, South View can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while Jack Britt are ranked 159th).

South View's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Jack Britt, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South View will face off against rival Gray's Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Jack Britt is set to square off against their familiar foe Douglas Byrd at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
