Basketball Recap: Greene County Comes Up Short

If Greene County was riding high fresh off their 93-57 takedown of South Hamilton last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Greene County Rams were dealt an 80-42 defeat at the hands of the Pleasantville Trojans on Monday.

Greene County's loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Pleasantville, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Greene County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pleasantville, they will take on West Marshall on Thursday. One thing working in West Marshall's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
