It's playoff time, and Fleming had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took their game on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 61-28 victory over the Godwin Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Colonels sure are getting used to it with their 16th in a row.

Amari Worsham had an outrageously good game as she dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Signae Houston, who posted six points in addition to seven boards and five steals.

Godwin lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Bella Ross, who had four points and nine rebounds.

Fleming's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.7 points over those games. As for Godwin, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.

Looking ahead, Fleming will be playing at home against L.C. Bird at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Fleming's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. Godwin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
