Baseball Recap: Pflugerville Comes Up Short

Pflugerville fell victim to Bastrop and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Bastrop Bears by a score of 1-0. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 8-7.

Pflugerville's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Bastrop, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Pflugerville Panthers duke it out with Pflugerville Connally Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bastrop, they will square off against Cedar Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
