After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Little Rock, Central was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Little Rock Southwest Gryphons as they made off with a 16-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games.
