West Vigo hadn't done well against Northview recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Vikings' defense stepped up to hand the Knights a 1-0 shutout. For West Vigo, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory Northview walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

West Vigo's one-goal win came courtesy of Tessa Fern, who's now up to two this season.

The win made it two in a row for West Vigo and bumps their season record up to 2-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Northview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
