Volleyball Game Preview: Mora Rangers/Rangerettes vs. Questa Wildcats + Official Tickets

The Mora Rangers/Rangerettes will venture away from home to square off against the Questa Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Questa will be up against a hot Mora team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Rangers/Rangerettes were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Penasco on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Questa made easy work of Escalante on Saturday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Lobos: they've now won four in a row.

Questa was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-13, 25-18.

Questa's win came from a few key players Mora will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Janae Dominguez, who had seven digs and seven aces. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jocelyne Ortega, who had 14 digs and three aces.

Mora's record now sits at 9-10. As for Questa, their record is now 15-4.

Mora came up short against Questa when the teams last played on October 9th, falling 3-1. Can the Rangers/Rangerettes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
