Baseball Recap: North Clarion Wolves vs. Clarion-Limestone Lions

North Clarion had lost six straight at home dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 0-10 to make it seven. They came up short against the Clarion-Limestone Lions, falling 10-0. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Clarion-Limestone, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8. Ten seems to be a good number for they as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

For Clarion-Limestone's part, Kohen Kemmer made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Kemmer also tossed no walks, which is notable because Clarion-Limestone is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-7 otherwise. Kemmer was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, Aiden Coulson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Lucian Sloan was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
