Softball Recap: Yucca Valley's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Yucca Valley entered their tilt with Desert Hot Springs on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went their way against the Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles as they made off with a 15-2 win. Considering the Trojans have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Bella Lopez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Hannah Cusack and Tayla Monroy did most of the damage at the plate: Cusack went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI, while Monroy scored two runs and stole Four bases. while going 2-for-3. With that strong performance, Monroy is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. Leila Schwab was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while going 2-for-3.
