Football Game Preview: Casey-Westfield Warriors vs. Paris Tigers

The Casey-Westfield Warriors will challenge the Paris Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Casey-Westfield and Richland County were almost perfectly matched up, but Casey-Westfield suffered a 28-27 loss. The loss was the Warriors' first of the season.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Paris and Robinson meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 41-18 margin over the Maroons. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Casey-Westfield fell to 7-1. As for Paris, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3.

Everything came up roses for Casey-Westfield against Paris in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 52-20 win. In that game, the Warriors amassed a halftime lead of 28-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
