It was a good run, but Aletheia Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a blow against the Jones Christian Academy Warrior, falling 68-40. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-49 back in December of 2024.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kendrick Williamson, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 17 points. Williamson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Jonah Wipf was another key player, going 5 for 7 en route to 12 points.

Aletheia Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Jones Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aletheia Christian Academy has already played their next matchup (against East Hill Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jones Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against West Florida Baptist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
