Softball Recap: Maiden Find Success

While Maiden put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for St. Stephens. The Blue Devils came out on top against the Indians by a score of 4-0. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won three in a row.

Not much got past Raegan Rembert, who gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks to keep St. Stephens off the board.

On the hitting side, Maiden's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Sydney Sigmon, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Amelia Beal also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

The victory got Maiden back to even at 8-8. As for St. Stephens, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.
