Football Recap: Tehachapi Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Tehachapi had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They strolled past the South Spartans with points to spare, taking the game 26-7. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

Tehachapi's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Colton Michael, who threw for 122 yards and one TD, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Roland Pina helped Michael out on the ground, rushing for 78 yards and one score.

Tehachapi was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 224 rushing yards. They are a perfect 5-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Tehachapi's defense and their four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

Tehachapi's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for South, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Tehachapi will venture away from home to take on Garces Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' defense better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 30 points per game this season. South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
