It was a good run, but Basis Independent Silicon Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took an 87-78 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Summit Shasta Black Bears. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (63), the Bobcats still had to take the loss.

Basis Independent Silicon Valley's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5. As for Summit Shasta, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing The Nueva School the next time they take the court. Summit Shasta will host The Nueva School at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, while Basis Independent Silicon Valley will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
