Lakeview was led to victory by Brayden Booher, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. On Friday, Cambridge Springs got the W thanks in part to Brett Kania playing the best football he has all season. Kania's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 118 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Kania must have Maplewood's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Kania saw the Tigers), he rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.
