Brayden Booher Turns in Season-Best Effort

Lakeview was led to victory by Brayden Booher, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Booher rushed for 96 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended two passes in addition to snagging three interceptions.

Kania must have Maplewood's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Kania saw the Tigers), he rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.

Greenville picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Nick Solderich. Solderich was dynamite, rushing for 71 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 155 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes.

Solderich and Greenville will challenge Maplewood at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The match will pit Solderich up against the Tigers' star quarterback Kyle Jordan. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.
