Softball Recap: Sandia Prep Takes a Loss

After soaring to 20 runs the game before, Sandia Prep was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against the Ruidoso Warriors, falling 7-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent loss being a 21-4 defeat on April 12th.

Sandia Prep has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season. As for Ruidoso, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

Coincidentally, Sandia Prep and Ruidoso will both be playing Dexter the next time they take the field. The Sundevils will head out to face the Demons at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Warriors will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
