Basketball Recap: Dallas County Takes a Loss

Dallas County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 69-28 loss at the hands of the Hatch Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while the Bobcats are ranked 148th).

Dallas County's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Hatch, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

Dallas County will venture away from home to challenge Southside at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dallas County is facing Southside at the right time seeing as Southside is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Hatch, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 57-26 victory against Linden on the 14th.
