Recap: Bluffton Tigers vs. North Miami Warriors

The Bluffton Tigers lost to the North Miami Warriors back in November of 2019, but the Bluffton Tigers didn't allow the North Miami Warriors the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Bluffton rang in the new year with a 55-46 win over North Miami. Given Bluffton's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while North Miami is ranked 220th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Bluffton to victory were Isabella Stout and Maryn Schreiber. Stout dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds, while Schreiber dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sophie Eisenhut, who scored three points along with five rebounds and three blocks.

Bluffton's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for North Miami, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-7.

Bluffton will head out on the road to face off against Jay County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jay County will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak alive. North Miami will take on Manchester at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Manchester focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Wednesday.
