Softball Game Preview: Goose Creek Gators vs. Waccamaw Warriors

The Goose Creek Gators will square off against the Waccamaw Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Goose Creek is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Goose Creek didn't have quite enough to beat Lucy Beckham and fell 7-6.

Lyric Cureton made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Madison Pirkel was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Waccamaw fell victim to Georgetown and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 21-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Waccamaw dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Goose Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
