Soccer Recap: Beddingfield Takes a Loss

Beddingfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 6-1 to the North Johnston Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against North Johnston this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Beddingfield's goal came courtesy of Glenda Mendoza, who's now up to three this season.

Beddingfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for North Johnston, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Beddingfield is set to face off against their familiar foe Eastern Wayne at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North Johnston will square off against rival Goldsboro at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
