Volleyball Recap: Person Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Person had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves by a score of 3-2. If the Rockets were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Fighting Red Wolves when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Person couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Cedar Ridge a tough time in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 20-25, 28-30, 15-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Person will host Franklinton at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cedar Ridge, they will challenge Southeast Alamance at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
