Football Recap: Vega Longhorns vs. Stratford Elks
Vega fell victim to Stratford and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 47-0 loss at the hands of the Stratford Elks. The Longhorns have struggled against the Elks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Stratford found their leader in sophomore Chase Lantelme, who threw for 182 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing. Alex Romero helped Lantelme out on the ground, rushing for 68 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
