Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mayfield). They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Riverside Beavers on Tuesday. Mayfield haven't had any issues with Riverside recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Mayfield hit Riverside with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brooke Tirabassi (3), Kennedy Setlock (2), Kena Chen, and Sofia Leffler.

Mayfield's victory bumped their record up to 4-1-2. As for Riverside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Mayfield will host Berea-Midpark at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Riverside, they will square off against Geneva at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
