Basketball Recap: Wesleyan Gets the Win

After losing to Mount Pisgah Christian the last time they met, Wesleyan decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wesleyan Wolves came out on top against the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots by a score of 56-48 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Wesleyan had a senior duo take command as Nate Nketia-Gyasi went 6 for 12 en route to 16 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks and Connor Morehouse posted 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nketia-Gyasi has scored all season. Grant Schelhammer was another key player, putting up nine points and eight rebounds.

Wesleyan's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-17.

Wesleyan has already played their next contest, a 60-43 defeat against Landmark Christian on the 31st. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 74-56 loss against St. Francis on the 29th.
