Hartland had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Brighton Bulldogs by a score of 39-27. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 126th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hartland pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.7 points on average over those games. As for Brighton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-11.
