Soccer Recap: Reavis Takes a Loss

Reavis lost against St. Laurence back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rams lost 4-0 to the Vikings. While losing is never fun, Reavis can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 297th, while St. Laurence are ranked 108th).

This is the second loss in a row for Reavis and nudges their season record down to 4-9. As for St. Laurence, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reavis will square off against Oak Lawn at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Laurence, they will face off against Rosary at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
