Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jadon Inabinett and Alan Wolf Lead John Paul II to Victory

John Paul II hadn't done well against Thomas Heyward Academy recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Golden Warrriors put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 47-21 win. With the Golden Warrriors ahead 40-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

John Paul II was led to victory by Alan Wolf and Jadon Inabinett. Wolf rushed for 102 yards and two scores, while Inabinett rushed for 140 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries. Inabinett's longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards. Ethan Osterling was in the mix as well, providing John Paul II with one touchdown.

The victory (which was John Paul II's third in a row) raised their record to 5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.3 points over those games. As for Thomas Heyward Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

As for Thomas Heyward Academy, they will head out to square off against Carolina Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
