Football Game Preview: Dover Pirates vs. Clinton Yellowjackets + Official Tickets

The Dover Pirates will head out on the road to take on the Clinton Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dover hasn't scored more than seven points for five games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

On Friday, Dover took a blow against Lamar, falling 42-7.

Meanwhile, Clinton didn't have quite enough to beat Dardanelle on Friday and fell 26-24. The loss continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their meetings with the Sand Lizards: they've now lost five in a row.

Dover's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Clinton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Dover took a serious blow against Clinton in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 47-16. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Pirates were down 28-8.
