Baseball Game Preview: Lake Weir Hurricanes vs. Baker County Wildcats

The Lake Weir Hurricanes will face off against the Baker County Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Weir will be strutting in after a win while Baker County will be coming in after a loss.

Lake Weir took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They never let Crescent City get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The game marked the Hurricanes' most dominant win of the season.

The team relied heavily on Chapter Jones, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3. He has become a key player for Lake Weir: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 3-8 otherwise.
