Softball Recap: Thornton Academy Comes Up Short

Thornton Academy fell victim to Bonny Eagle and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Scots, falling 13-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Trojans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Thornton Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Bogardus, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Thornton Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Bonny Eagle, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
