Baseball Recap: McClave Comes Up Short

If McClave was riding high fresh off their 17-2 takedown of Holly on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cardinals came up short against the Otis Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 9-2. The game marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

McClave's loss dropped their record down to 11-1. As for Otis, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, McClave and Otis will both be playing Stratton the next time they take the field. The Cardinals will head out to face the Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
