Central Christian lost against Cardinal Mooney back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Comets fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-2. The loss was Central Christian's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Central Christian fell to 9-1. As for Cardinal Mooney, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2-1.
