Whitley County won the last time they faced Owsley County and things went their way on Saturday too. Everything went the Whitley County Colonels' way against the Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls as the Whitley County Colonels made off with a 78-57 win. The Colonels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Whitley County has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points per game. As for Owsley County, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-17.
