Spring Hill took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Monday. They skirted past the Pleasant Grove Hawks 3-2. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Spring Hill was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 21-25, 25-12, 16-14.

Looking ahead, Spring Hill will hit the road for the first time this season to take on White Oak at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pleasant Grove, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on De Kalb at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
